Margaret’s journey into interior design began when she worked as a design assistant at a boutique Hong Kong firm specializing in feng shui consultations. Over the next decade, she gradually shifted focus toward educating others. She recognized that many homeowners in Sha Tin and surrounding areas lacked access to quality guidance on optimizing their living spaces.
After completing her postgraduate studies in Environmental Psychology at the University of Hong Kong in 2015, Margaret began teaching part-time at local design schools while maintaining her private practice. She joined Harmonic Spaces Limited five years ago to formalize her educational mission, and she’s helped over 1,200 students understand how spatial planning, natural light, circulation patterns, and cultural design principles can transform small Hong Kong apartments.
Margaret’s approach is grounded in both traditional feng shui theory and modern spatial psychology research. She doesn’t subscribe to superstition — rather, she explores the practical wisdom embedded in centuries of design tradition. She’s particularly passionate about helping Sha Tin residents maximize their often-limited square footage while maintaining harmony between family members and creating functional, beautiful spaces that genuinely improve daily living.
